TWR Karting is the North American importer of LGK Racing Karts. TWR Karting was founded in 2023 when Thomas Woolsey crossed paths with Lorenzo Lungani of LGK Racing Kart in Italy. United by their shared love for karting and a vision for excellence, they forged a partnership that would become the foundation of TWR Karting.
Impressed by the pedigree of LGK Racing Karts, which are manufactured by the renowned BirelART group, Thomas recognized an opportunity to bring these exceptional chassis to the North American karting market. With a legacy of success and innovation, BirelART’s involvement ensures that LGK Karts are built to the highest standards, combining cutting-edge technology with decades of racing expertise.
This partnership not only marked the birth of TWR Karting but also laid the groundwork for a new era of karting excellence in North America. ABOUT LGK
LGK Racing Kart S.R.L. has been a key player in the karting world since 1990. Founded by Ferdinando Lungani, the company initially focused on the production of aluminous karting components, manufacturing hubs, disc holders, crown holders, bearing holders, grinding axles, and radiators. LGK’s commitment to research and quality quickly established the company as a supplier for some of the leading karting companies of the time.
LGK soon after expanded its focus, designing its first chassis, the “STUKAS”. This marked the start of LGK Racing Team’s rigorous testing and continuous improvement efforts. By 1994, LGK had secured its first international homologation for chassis and components. The company continued to grow, launching “BULL POWER” engine manufacturing in 2004, solidifying its position as one of the most complete self-producing companies in the karting sector.
In 2021, LGK became official partners with Birel ART, a major player in the karting sector. This partnership has enhanced LGK’s chassis and frames production, ensuring top-of-the-range product development through collaboration between Birel ART and LGK.
